PRR/3E – PRR/N2

SPEDO Disc harrows series PRR are hitched to the tractor’s 3pt lift arms and are of the tandem type, i.e. consisting of four sections of independent and opposing discs. These implements are recommended for tractors with 140 to 180 HP.

Generally, disc harrows find a wide use for cultivating the surface layers of the soil.  Thanks to its versatility, disc harrow can be used by all kind of growers.

Tandem disc harrows are particularly recommended for burying crop residues, incorporating fertilizers or manure as well as for eradicating weeds. Moreover, these implements are used for preparing the seedbed, breaking up clods and reduce unevennesses in previously plowed terrains.

Soil cultivation with disc harrow has always revealed particularly advantageous, as it doesn’t require the use of tractor’s PTO but only its towing capacity. In this way, it is possible to achieve considerable savings of time and fuel, as well as to increase environmental protection.
