Argo is a versatile in-row cultivator with an automatic self-retraction system. It is recommended for vineyards with particularly narrow in-row spacing and, generally, plantations arranged with row system. Row width range: 170 – 250 cm (67 to 98 in.).
Argo can be mounted on the rear of the tractor by using a 3pt hitch and is operated by the tractor’s hydraulic system. The machine requires one distributor (i.e. 2 quick couplers). Its reduced weight (about 250Kg /550 lbs depending on the version) makes it suitable also for 35-40 HP tractors. The minimum requirement is that the tractor’s hydraulic system shall be able to supply an oil flow of 25 liter /minute (6.60 us gal/min) plus the oil flow requirement for the accessory working head in order to ensure the in-row cultivator proper functioning.
To adjust a correct oil flow, a proper limiting valve is a highly recommendable accessory.
Argo is available with an electric distributor – joystick (mandatory for tractors with cabin) or in the more classic version with hydraulic lever distributors.
Argo is recommended for operating in orchards, vineyards and, generally, any plantation arranged with row system. The machine offsets 90 cm (36 in.) from the center of the tractor and thus can be used within a row width from 170 cm (67 in.)
